Qualifications
We are searching for a Registered Nurse for a full-time position on our state-of-the-art Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Team. Under the direction of the Nursing Director or Supervisor, the Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The Behavioral Health / Psychiatric RN is responsible for directing all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice and federal, state, and local regulations.
Essential Core Functions:

  • Provide quality patient care, in keeping with the philosophy and objectives of the hospital and department.

  • Maintain and support the standards of nursing care and practice in order to meet the health care needs of patients, their families and the community.

  • Prescribes, delegates and coordinates all nursing care provided to assigned patients and is responsible for meeting all standards associated with performance, nursing practice and nursing care.


Qualifications:
You should have:

  • Current State of Georgia RN License required, or recognized compact licensure (subject to Georgia State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)

  • Minimum of one year experience in the acute care setting

Qualifications:
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Most possess a current license as a registered Nurse to practice in the State of Georgia.
BLS - Healthcare provider on hire (American Hear Association)
CPI- must be completed within 90 days of hire and then every calendar year.
Education: RN Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Experience: Experience in Behavioral Health preferred.
Special qualifications: Effective communication skills; both orally and written. Computer skills needed. Ability to manage a team and work with others within a team to ensure quality patient care. Strong problem solving skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
