Health Service Specialist II
Salary:
$20,416/annually plus shift differential for evening and weekend hours

00 - 11:

Job Description:
Under direct supervision, this position will perform basic procedures for consumers in the Crisis Stabilization Unit. Will monitor and assist consumers in daily recreational and social activities. Observes and communicates consumer behavior to Nursing staff and, assists with laundry, linen changes, errands and transportation of consumers. Responsible for ensuring security of unit during assigned shift. Must be able to provide crisis control for consumers. Applicants must be able to utilize proper restraint methods and protect staff and consumers in crisis situations (execute CPI Interventions). Will work every other weekend and alternating holidays
Competencies:
Ability to monitor and communicate consumer's behavior
Ability to provide simple nursing care, personal care & hygiene
Ability to perform established treatment and programmatic activities
Skills in Time Management
Required Minimum
Qualifications:
Completion of a high school diploma or GED with experience in providing nursing type duties, and/or security. Must be proficient with computers. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
