CNA Certified Nursing Assistant (Day Shift)

Our CNAs Job Purpose is to provide each of our assigned residents' with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the needs of the resident and the care plan.
Your exact duties would be developed and based on your assigned resident's needs and the care plan. With the care we provide being resident-centered, your duty list is very individualized and will change when your resident's change.
Record and Document on flow sheets or any requested records.
Report all changes in condition and or any accidents and incidents.
Attend and participate in in-services and meetings.
Maintain and follow safety regulations and keep a safe work environment.
Report defective equipment.
Review care plans daily and perform required duties.
Maintain resident confidentiality.
Knock before entering.
Report all changes in skin and breakdown.
Provide catheter and perineal care.
Assist and give any needed or directed care.
Give baths.
Dress and assist as needed.
Nail care.
Shaving residents as needed.
Making beds.
Organizing and keeping rooms tidy.
Changing bed linens.
Bowel and Bladder functions ( going to bathroom).
Lifting, turning, positioning as needed or instructed.
Answer call lights quickly.
Keep water and ice available to the resident.
Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed.
Receive reports and work as a team member.
Dental care and mouth care.
Any and all care that is needed for patient satisfaction.
