We are not only the largest monument retailer in the state, but we are also a leading manufacturer.
We are currently seeking an individual with operations experience who will be responsible for the manufacturing end of the business activities to ensure that the factory is capable of meeting the established schedules.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, execution, and success of the continual growth and improvement of all manufacturing operations.
Duties:
- Oversee all aspects of plant management, including operations, process improvement, and supply chain management - Develop and implement strategies to improve plant efficiency and productivity - Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that the plant is in compliance with all relevant regulations - Manage and supervise a team of employees, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations - Collaborate with other departments to ensure that production goals are met - Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure that materials are available when needed - Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency - Ensure that quality control standards are met or exceeded - Troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed Manage the installation and pickup of orders Maintain DOT and other vehicle maintenance and records SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have the following experience/educational background:
Strong blend of analytical, decision-making and creative problem solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to lead and serve as a member of a team General knowledge of electric, hydraulic, and pneumatics Ability to manage employees effectively and communicate strongly with current staff.
We are looking for a leader, not a drill instructor.
